Drew Barrymore Back To Work Following Will Kopelman Divorce Announcement: Actress All Smiles At Wine Event

Drew Barrymore displayed her strong and happy side during a public event, shortly after news of her divorce from husband Will Kopelman was released.

The “Charlie’s Angels” star was all smiles when she appeared at the Pebble Beach Food and Wine event held on Saturday, April 2, at Carmel, California, just a few hours after her and Kopelman’s divorce plans was announced, E! News reported. The actress attended the event to promote her Barrymore Wines collection. She went for a casual look during the event with a loose fitting top that featured a vertical-striped design. Barrymore partnered her top with black pants and black sandals.

A snapshot of the actress talking with the event attendees was also shared through Pebble Beach Resorts’ Instagram account. The photo showed Barrymore smiling as she talked with a lady in front of a table that featured several wine bottles. The image was captioned, “Spotted: Actress Drew Barrymore at the Lexus Grand Tasting Tent sharing her passion for Barrymore Wines. #pbfw #pebblebeachresorts #drewbarrymore.”

Barrymore Wines was just one of the business ventures that the actress has started. Aside from an acting career, she also launched a cosmetics label and has her own production company. However, she has appeared in less movie roles over the recent years given her decision to focus on her children.

Meanwhile, Barrymore and Kopelman issued a joint statement about their separation on Saturday, April 2. The former Hollywood couple were married for more three years before they decided to split up. In a statement released to People magazine, Barrymore and Kopelman shared that their “family is separating legally.”

“Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority,” Barrymore and Kopelman said in the statement.

Barrymore and Kopelman have two daughters together, three-year-old Olive and nearly one year old Frankie.
