Actress Drew Barrymore may soon be a mother of two.

The 38-year-old former child star revealed on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” Monday that she is planning to soon give her 1-year-old daughter, Olive, a sibling. "The Wedding Singer" actress confirmed her plans to welcome another child to her family after talk show host Jay Leno prompted the conversation. “Normally I wouldn't ask a woman this question, but I know you and I think I know the answer, so it seems okay,” said Leno, then asking, “Do you want to have more kids?” Barrymore smiled and responded, “Very much. Right away, yes.”

While the actress grew up as a single child, she said she wants a different life for her daughter with her husband of one year, art consultant Will Kopelman. “I want to be the Griswolds,” said Barrymore, referencing the dysfunctional family in the series of the 1980s “National Lampoon Vacation” films. “I want the kids in the back rolling their eyes at Mom and Dad. I want Rusty and Audrey, theme parks and the whole nine,” she said.

While the longtime actress did not confirm or deny if she is currently expecting, she did give an update on Olive. "She says a lot of words," Barrymore said, also revealing that she is expecting her daughter to take her first steps within the “next week.”

Barrymore previously discussed her daughter on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show" shortly after giving birth in December 2012. “I never would have guessed that would have been the name,” said Barrymore when dishing on why she settled on the moniker. “I was reading a [pregnancy] book with my husband. I was three months pregnant and they said your baby is the size of an olive, and that was it. We never looked back,” she said.

The actress can be seen next in the comedy flick “The Familymoon” starring alongside her two-time co-star Adam Sandler. The film, which follows a former couple stuck vacationing together at a resort with their families, is scheduled for a May 2014 release.
