Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd. announced this morning that it has partnered with Meridian Street Beverage, a distributor of luxury spirits that specializes in distribution in urban liquor markets. The distributor has already begun selling the company’s products in Chicago. Under the terms of the agreement, the company expects to expand its relationship with Meridian in various key urban markets.

Patrick Kenny, Chairman and CEO of Drinks Americas, stated, “Drinks is very happy with the relationship we have formed and the business that will result from distribution through Meridian Street Beverage, a distributor of luxury wine and spirit products that very effectively reaches a core audience for many of our products. The professional approach that Meridian has demonstrated in reaching this market will result in incremental sales over the long term. We think this is a key strategic partnership for Drinks Americas. We have seen immediate sales results with an increase in our business in the Chicago market from the moment we began to ship product to Meridian Street Beverage.”
