Season four of “Duck Dynasty” is turning out to be a hit, raking in 11.8 million viewers, the New York Daily News reports. On Wednesday night it became the most-watched reality show in cable television history.

"Thanks to its authentic and engaging characters, 'Duck Dynasty' has become more than just a reality show,” David McKillop, general manager and executive vice president of A&E, said in a statement quoted by the Daily News. “It’s a cultural phenomenon.”

The show resolves around the Robertsons of Louisiana, who created and market classic duck calls. Viewers watch the family, most of whom have long beards and dress in camo, deal with daily dramas narrated in a blunt style.

Si Robertson recently released a book about his family’s success and his faith called “Si-cology 1: Tales and Wisdom from Duck Dynasty’s Favorite Uncle.” During a LifeWay promotional video for the book, Uncle Si shared his personal thoughts on his faith, as quoted by Christian Post.

"I talk to people all the time who say, 'You believe in the resurrection of the dead?' Well sure I do. I see it all the time. And they say, 'You're a weirdo.' And I say, I may be, but let me tell you, I see resurrections every spring," Uncle Si said.

"During the winter time, everything is dead looking and dull looking, OK. Hang around here and wait a month, or month and-a-half, [and] dull, dead looking trees without leaves and all that – you'll drive to work one day, and then, hey, there is an explosion of life like you have not seen lately. The good thing about that is, hey, that's what He promises people who believe in His Son," Uncle Si added.

"Just like He raised His Son from the dead, He promises that if you believed in His Son, He will raise you from the dead. And look, that's what we're banking on. That's what all the Robertsons are banking on."
