The U.S Commerce Department said today in Washington that Durable Goods Orders fell by 4.0 percent in January - the most in three years, from the prior revised estimates of 3.2 percent in December, while better than the expected drop worth 1.0 percent.

Durable Goods Orders Excluding Transportation dropped by 3.2 percent last month, down from the prior revised estimate of 2.0 percent and the flat estimates expected.
