RTTNews - Thursday, the Dutch Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 1.8% year-over-year in April, slower than the 2% rise recorded in the previous month. Economists were looking an increase of 1.9%. A year ago, the CPI was up 2%.

Food prices rose 3% annually in April, compared with 3.6% in the previous month.

Meanwhile, the harmonized indexes of consumer prices or HICP grew 1.8% in April.
