RTTNews - Monday, a report by the Netherlands' Central Bureau of Statistics said the trade surplus narrowed to EUR2.5 billion in May from EUR2.7 billion in the previous year.

The value of exports dropped 21% year-on-year to EUR24.1 billion, while the value of imports dipped 22% to EUR21.5 billion.

At the same time, the volume of exports declined by over 10% from a year earlier, after adjusting for working day effects, while the imports increased by more than 12%.
