“Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Cheryl Burke may be appearing on “The Bachelorette,” according to sources who spoke to Radar Online.

The 28-year-old pro dancer has been on “DWTS” since its beginning and has acquired a huge fan base as a result.

Even if her partners don’t win on the show, she usually makes it to the finals. Right now she is dancing in the All-Star season with NFL star Emmitt Smith. The two won together in their first go, and they’re trying to take home another trophy.

But the dancer may soon be handing out roses instead of winning mirror balls on ABC, if sources that spoke to Radar Online are to be believed.

“Cheryl has been in talks with producers to be the next 'Bachelorette' and they think she’d be a really good choice," a source close to the show said to Radar Online.

"She has a huge fan base, she’s great on television and they definitely think people would want to watch her find true love on TV."

A possible monkey wrench is that former “Bachelorette” Emily Maynard’s engagement to Jeff Holm dissolved after both were accused of cheating. Radar Online reported that Maynard was being approached to do another season, but no one has confirmed either her or Burke.

"Cheryl would be a fun person to have as the Bachelorette, and she was excited when they approached her to be on the show," the source told Radar.

Meanwhile, aources at E! say Burke wants to be on the show.

Looks like fans won’t have a definite answer until "The Bachelorette" is cast sometime in next spring.
