Following his years of Disney fame, actor Dylan Sprouse has now found a slightly less flashy form of employment.

The 21-year-old actor -- who starred in "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" with his twin brother -- was recently spotted working at a Manhattan restaurant. And though photos of Sprouse at his new job have sparked rumors he is facing financial trouble, the actor insists he took the job for personal reasons alone.

"To clear up the air (which is admittedly pretty rude), I did not take this job because I 'lost all my money,'” he wrote in a post on his Tumblr addressing the rumors. "I am financially secure, and took this job as a way to primarily feed my over bountiful video game addiction."

Sprouse, who enrolled in New York University in 2011, added that the job gives him a chance to "try a new experience" and "get out of the house." And his favorite restaurant patrons are in luck. Sprouse revealed that he will return to acting someday but for now he plans to continue his gig at the restaurant.

"I will potentially return to acting someday, but in no way do I think any experience is a step down for me, but rather a new step in another direction," he said.

Sprouse's twin brother Cole Sprouse also took a break from acting to pursue his education at NYU. In a YouTube interview, Dylan said they made the decision to go to college since "historically, Disney Channel stars don't survive well outside of the Disney environment."
