Even as the earnings season wanes, investors will still hear from a number of major retailers in the coming week.

Overall, 462 companies have reported earnings to date for the second quarter. Among them, 66 percent have reported earnings above analyst expectations, according to data from Zacks. Revenues for these companies are up by 2 percent, with a revenue-beating portion of 52.8 percent.

Estimates for third-quarter earnings growth dropped to 2.3 percent from 4 percent three weeks ago. But expectations for the second half of the year still represent a growth ramp up from the first half’s level.

We ran a screen and produced a list of 31 notable companies set to report their earnings Aug. 19-23. We have highlighted their expected reporting dates and times, along with analysts’ earnings-per-share (fully reported) and revenue estimates from Reuters, as well as the stocks’ year-to-date performances.

Monday After Markets Close, or AMC:

Urban Outfitters Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN) is a lifestyle specialty retail company. The company has a market capitalization of $6.13 billion. It is expected to report FY 2014 second-quarter EPS of 48 cents on revenue of $768.35 million, compared with EPS of 42 cents on revenue of $676.27 million in the year-ago period. Urban Outfitters Inc. is trading at around $41.77 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 6.1 percent.

Tuesday Before Markets Open, or BMO:

J.C. Penney Company Inc. (NYSE:JCP) is a retailer. The company has a market capitalization of $2.79 billion. It is expected to report a loss of $1.15 a share on revenue of $2.79 billion in the second quarter of fiscal year 2013, compared with a loss of 67 cents a share on revenue of $3.02 billion in the year-ago period. J.C. Penney Co. Inc. is trading at around $12.68 per share. So far this year, the stock has lost 35.7 percent.

Saks Inc. (NYSE:SKS) is a department store retailer. The company has a market capitalization of $2.41 billion. It is expected to report a loss of 8 cents a share on revenue of $733.18 million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2013, compared with a loss of 8 cents a share on revenue of $704.12 million in the year-ago period. Saks Inc. is trading at around $16.06 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 52.8 percent.

Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE: BKS) is a bookseller. The company has a market capitalization of $1.07 billion. It is expected to report a loss of 81 cents a share on revenue of $1.32 billion in the first quarter of fiscal year 2014, compared with a loss of 78 cents a share on revenue of $1.45 billion in the year-ago period. Barnes & Noble Inc. is trading at around $17.92 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 18.8 percent.

Best Buy Co. Inc. (NYSE:BBY) is a multinational retailer of consumer electronics, computing and mobile phone products, entertainment products, appliances and related services. The company has a market capitalization of $10.46 billion. It is expected to report a full-year EPS of $1.81 on revenue of $42.75 billion, compared with a loss of 73 cents a share on revenue of $44.5 billion in fiscal year 2013. Best Buy Co. Inc. is trading at around $30.81 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 118.2 percent.

The Home Depot Inc. (NYSE:HD) is a home improvement retailer. The company has a market capitalization of $109.76 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of $1.21 on revenue of $21.75 billion, compared with EPS of $1.01 on revenue of $20.57 billion in the year-ago period. The Home Depot Inc. is trading at around $75.14 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 21.5 percent.

Medtronic Inc. (NYSE: MDT) is engaged in medical technology. The company has a market capitalization of $54.73 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 first-quarter EPS of 89 cents on revenue of $4.11 billion, compared with EPS of 83 cents on revenue of $4.01 billion in the year-ago period. The TJX Companies Inc. (NYSE: TJX) is an off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and worldwide. The company has a market capitalization of $36.54 billion. Analog Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:ADI) is engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of a range of analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing integrated circuits. The company has a market capitalization of $22.93 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 third-quarter EPS of 54 cents on revenue of $671.70 million, compared with EPS of 56 cents on revenue of $683.03 million in the year-ago period. Analog Devices Inc. is trading at around $47.83 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 13.7 percent.

Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ:INTU) is a provider of business and financial management solutions for small businesses, consumers, accounting professionals and financial institutions. The company has a market capitalization of $24.02 billion. It is expected to report a loss of 10 cents a share in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2013 on revenue of $663.92 million, compared with a profit of 1 cent a share on revenue of $651.00 million in the year-ago period. Intuit Inc. is trading at around $63.83 per share. So far this year, the stock has gained 7.3 percent.

Wednesday BMO:

American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE:AEO) is a specialty retailer. The company has a market capitalization of $3.21 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 14 cents on revenue of $719.25 million, compared with EPS of 9 cents on revenue of $739.68 million in the year-ago period. American Eagle Outfitters is trading at around $16.54 per share. So far this year, the stock has lost 19.4 percent.

Lowe's Companies Inc. (NYSE:LOW) is a home improvement retailer. The company has a market capitalization of $47.71 billion. It is expected to report FY 2013 second-quarter EPS of 79 cents on revenue of $15.05 billion, compared with EPS of 64 cents on revenue of $14.25 billion in the year-ago period. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE:ANF) is a specialty retailer of casual apparel for men, women and kids. The company has a market capitalization of $3.84 billion.
