Travel booking site Priceline has paid $2.6 billion to acquire OpenTable. Reuters

Priceline.com Inc. (NASDAQ:PCLN) is reporting second-quarter earnings after the market closes Thursday, and Wall Street on average is estimating a 19 percent rise in the travel website’s earnings per share to $9.37, and a 25 percent rise in revenue to $1.66 billion, according to CNBC. Shares of Priceline.com rose 0.40 percent to $931.25 in afternoon trade.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE:LGF), which also reports after market close Thursday, is forecast for the fiscal first quarter to report earnings of 8 cents per share on revenue of $524.2 million, according to MarketWatch. Shares of Lionsgate edged up 0.09 percent to $34.06.

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is expected to report second-quarter earnings of 12 cents per share on revenue of $976.35 million, according to analysts polled by Reuters, compared with earnings of 19 cents per share on revenue of $1.04 billion in the year-ago quarter. Shares of NVIDIA were up 0.51 percent to $14.68

As of 3:54 p.m. Eastern, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 32.81 points, or 0.21 percent, at 15,503.48. The S&P 500 Index was up 6.78 points, or 0.4 percent, at 1,697.72. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 16.29points, or 0.45 percent, at 3,670.28.
