The ECB in their monthly bulletin for February said the current low interest rate at 1.00% is suitable after the latest information available.

The governing council maintains their inflation expectations, referring that upward pressure stemming form the rise in commodity prices will push prices up over the short-term but it will then stabilize over the medium term.

With regard to growth outlook, they mentioned that the risks to this economic outlook are still slightly tilted to the downside, while uncertainty remains elevated.
