ECB's Trichet: U.S. Should Support Strong Dollar

RTTNews - European Central Bank President, Jean-Claude Trichet said on Sunday that the U.S. should support strong dollar and it is extremely important.

He called on commercial banks in the Eurozone to restructure their situation when required. Banks should clean-up their balance sheets. Trichet told reporters, We have been doing a lot for the commercial banks Of course we are doing that with a view that the commercial banks are financing the real economy, he added.
