Athens University of Economics & Business (AUEB) is a leading European Business School, and its MBA International is a world-class graduate program accredited by AMBA. ΜΒΑ international is offered exclusively in English, and attracts students from more than 20 countries. Participants of the program can select one of the 8 specializations offered, thus gaining additional knowledge in an area of interest, or facilitating a career switch.
Two of the outstanding features of the program are the Personal Skills Development Program (PSDP) and the Immersion / Field Study Project. The PSDP is a year-long program that runs in parallel with the other courses, and allows students to improve their ”soft-skills” like stress management, time management, leadership, team-building, and emotional intelligence. The Immersion Project, which can involve a Field Study Consulting Project, an International Internship, a Business Plan for a student-initiated venture, is a much sought-after component of our program. It offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a business environment by working for 3 months on a real-company problem or an entrepreneurial idea. A significant number of our students get job offers while they do their Immersion Project.
Besides the very broad curriculum, students participate in a number of extracurricular activities that aim to develop further their personal or professional interests, as well as their networking, such as company days, career days, business games and competitions, athletic events etc.
A member of the United Nations Global Compact initiative since 2006, and the Global Compact Network Hellas since its foundation in 2008, the MBA International takes pride in promoting Corporate Social Responsibility through curriculum, collaboration with business, academic research and various student activities.
The Program was established 12 years ago and is accreditationed by AMBA. MBA International offers a Full Time Program, with duration of 14 months and a Part Time Program with duration of 24 months. Both programs start in September of every year. Preparatory courses are offered starting late August, for the 2 weeks prior to the normal program. Students who have to take the preparatory courses are notified upon admission.
