The EIA report showed that the U.S commercial crude oil inventories increased by 9.00 million barrels from the previous week of 7.1 million barrel. At 362.4 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are in the upper limit of the average range for this time of year. Total motor gasoline inventories decreased by 1.5 million barrels last week and are in the upper limit of the average range.

While both finished gasoline inventories and blending components inventories decreased last week. Distillate fuel inventories didn't change last week to stay in the middle of the average range for this time of year.
