“Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke shocked theatergoers and sparked a camera phone photo frenzy when she stepped on stage nude into a bathtub during her debut for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” Wednesday.

According to The New York Post, fans went wild and even caused a security hazard when 26-year-old Clarke was butt naked and stepped into a bubble bath for the production at the Cort Theatre.

“On Monday, it was a packed house, including a huge contingent of fans of ‘Game of Thrones,’ ” a source told the Post. “What titillated the audience . . . was a full nude scene between Emilia and [male lead] Cory Michael Smith.”

Despite the no-photos policy at the theatre, fans started frantically snapping photos with their camera phones, hoping to get photos of Clarke nude. The Post said the situation got so out of control that the theatre had to tighten its security for future shows to keep fans at bay.

None of the photos have hit the Internet or social media … yet, The Post said.

The “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” production, based on the famous book by Truman Capote and movie of the same name starring Audrey Hepburn, opens March 20 but started previews on Wednesday.

The scene capturing everyone’s attention had Clarke getting naked as Holly Golightly after bringing the other lead, played by Smith, to her apartment after he was injured riding horses in Central Park.

“She undresses him and he gets in the tub,” the source told The Post. “She then goes offstage and comes back in a towel. She takes it off and gets in with him. So you don’t see everything. There are bubbles strategically placed."

Another source said, “If you’re sitting in the balcony you can see a lot more.”

Of course, this is not the first time Clarke was naked and shocked fans. The pale-haired actress became a sensation for her role on “Game of Thrones,” when she had a nude scene. The episode shows Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen slipping out of a dress and also getting into a bathtub naked. A simple Google Image search yields results of the actress nude for the HBO show.

For The Atlantic Wire, Clarke getting naked in the theater production is no big deal. Esther Zuckerman wrote:

“The whole situation strikes us as, well, rather silly. People can watch Clarke get naked regularly on 'Game of Thrones,' where nudity is most certainly embraced, so why the need for a blurry cell phone picture that a) probably doesn't capture what these folks are really looking for, b) is disrespectful to the actors, and c) bothers other theatergoers? (Full disclosure: picture taking in theaters is a major pet peeve of ours.) And these are 'Game of Thrones' fans, no less. Do they not get HBO? Do they not have the Internet? Were they interested in Smith, who plays Fred? Were they trying to see if their cameras could pick up any evidence of dragons?”
