Eminem may be the "King of Hip-Hop," but his daughter Hailie Scott is the queen of homecoming.

Last Friday, rapper Marshall Mathers' 17-year-old daughter was voted and crowned homecoming queen of her high school, Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Mich. According to local newspaper the Macomb Daily, both Eminem and mother Kimberly Scott were present to watch Hailie and friend Tyler Knepp receive the titles of homecoming king and queen on their school's football field.

“[Eminem] opened the door and looked out like - ‘That’s my daughter!’ He just looked like a proud father,” a source told the Macomb Daily when his daughter won.

However, Eminem wasn't sitting in the bleachers with all of the other parents, the newspaper noted.

“Hailie came out with her mother Kim when she was introduced with all the other kids, but her father watched from inside the school because he didn’t want to cause a scene -- he wanted Hailie to have her own moment,” an unnamed source told the newspaper, adding that Eminem wanted to watch the game and homecoming proceedings from inside a classroom.

“I heard our people had him in the cafeteria so he could see what was going on outside, but I can’t confirm that,” George Sobah, president of the Chippewa Valley Board of Education, said.

The Macomb Daily linked to a photo that circulated on local broadcast TV on the Michigan ABC affiliate showing a blurry image of Hailie and her date wearing their crowns on the football field.

Hailie Scott, a 17-year-old senior at Chippewa Valley, reportedly rode in a convertible driven by Clinton Township philanthropist and neighbor Jim George as part of the homecoming parade. The Macomb Daily said she has gone to Chippewa Valley Schools since elementary school; faculty describe her as a "smart, athletic and caring young woman."

However, Hailie's big homecoming win was not confirmed by Eminem's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, though nearly every major news outlet has picked up the news from The Macomb Daily.

Much speculation has been made over the years of Hailie, who was immortalized in Eminem's 2002 album "The Eminem Show" on a track called "Hailie's song." Recently, there's been rampant curiousity as to what the teenager looks like after a Twitter account @Angry_Blonde emerged last year claiming to be Eminem's daughter. However, it turns out the account, as well as the photos, were fake.
