Emma Roberts is showing the world it’s OK to be real in photos. Robert’s #AerieREAL campaign photos arrived Monday. They are full ads of her in her natural state, without makeup.

Yahoo! reported Roberts was the first nonmodel to take part in the campaign for Aerie. There is no Photoshop or retouching of photos after they are taken. “I feel so honored to be part of a movement that reassures women that real doesn’t mean flawed -- real is sexy, real is cool,” Roberts dished.

Roberts posted a tweet Monday saying how excited she is about everyone seeing the ads. She attached a link to a photo on her Instagram account. More Aerie ads can be seen here.

In an interview with Refinery29 July 7, the "Scream Queens" star said she likes the ads because they’re just her being herself.

“Often, when we hear the word 'real,' we automatically think flaws, but it just means being yourself, realizing you're beautiful the way you are, and not taking it all too seriously. Like on Instagram, I love posting pics of myself looking silly and laughing -- it doesn't always have to be a sexy selfie,” she said.

The 24-year-old will not only be seen in ads this fall. She will star of Fox’s upcoming series “Scream Queens” alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. Roberts told Variety the show has an “underlying feel of girl power.”

“As a young woman, that, to me, is so important. The way we talk to each other sometimes is awful. But at the end of the day, we’re looking out for each other. We’re going to have each other’s backs,” Roberts said.

“Scream Queens” premieres Tuesday Sept. 22 on Fox at 8 p.m. EDT. Roberts’ #AerieREAL campaign will run Sept. 3 through the holiday season in stores and online.
