Alas, the Emma Watson-Prince Harry dating rumors might be nothing but a fabrication. The “Harry Potter” star took to Twitter Sunday morning after she faced mounting speculation that she and Prince Harry were an item. The thought of the Prince of Wales and unofficial Princess of Hollywood sent the Internet into a tizzy, but Watson cautioned her fans to be skeptical of the things they read.

“WORLD Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media?!” The message was shared more than 27,000 times and favorite nearly 57,000 times by Sunday evening.

But Watson, 24, didn’t stop there. She followed up her first message with a reminder for her fans. She conjured a scene from the 1995 hit film “A Little Princess” to tell netizens “all girls are princesses.”

“Also..... marrying a Prince not a prerequisite for being a Princess,” she wrote Sunday.

It seems like Watson has put a definite end to the notion that she was dating Harry, 30. The rumor emerged last week when Australian magazine Woman's Day said the two were an item. "He’s smitten -- and it’s more than Emma's looks,” a source told the magazine. "Harry didn't want her to feel like she was put on the spot. A party also shows he’s fun and not stuffy.”

Twitter users widely supported the pair dating, and suggested that if the actress and British Royal had a son together, he would be a “Half-Blood Prince,” which is a play off the sixth book in the Harry Potter series.

Unlike Watson, Prince Harry has not issued an official statement about the dating rumors. Palace officials have not responded either, but a source told People magazine they thought they were "nonsense." Even though Watson slammed the dating allegations, both she and Harry are single.
