Emma Watson’s appearance on the cover of latest cover of W contradicts what the actress wants you to believe. Despite the “Bling Ring” star posing pantless on the publication’s June/July cover, she said she isn’t in a hurry to be an adult and doesn’t want to be known for her physical attributes.

The 23-year-old actress expressed her desire to remain an adolescent in the latest edition of W magazine, posing in a Louis Vuitton jacket and flashing nude fish nets. Watson, who first burst into the world of fame at the tender age of nine after starring in “Harry Potter” as tight-laced, book-smart muggle Hermione Granger, told the magazine she is uninterested in being recognized as a film industry sexual icon.

“The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a rush to be seen as a woman,” Watson said. “I never wanted to grow up too fast. I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22!” she said.

Despite her desire to remain innocent, Watson starred in the upcoming drama “The Bling Ring,” based on the true story of a group of teens robbing celebrity homes in Hollywood. The British native said portraying the role of Nicki, based on real-life alleged criminal Alexis Neiers, at times made her uncomfortable on set, calling the character’s dialogue “crazy and absurd.”

“At one point, I told the costume designer, ‘You can see my bra strap on this top. Shouldn’t we pin it?’ And she said, ‘No, sweetie. Nicki is all about her bra strap showing.’ I was like, right, OK, different mind-set,” Watson said. “The iconic detail of Nicki is her tramp stamp. It’s a lotus flower, a Buddhist-like symbol just above her butt crack. Really classy!” she said.

Watson can be seen in the film’s trailer dressing, smoking and dancing proactively while licking her lips saying, “Come on, let’s go to Paris [Hilton's house]. I want to rob." While a departure from her longtime "Harry Potter" role, the Sofia Coppola film has recently garnered positive reviews after making the rounds at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, with Variety calling the work a "lively and fascinating look at real-life teen crime."

Watson’s cover photo on GQ’s May issue was equally revealing, the actress sporting a tight, body-hugging outfit and revealing temporary tattoos on her abdomen. The actress gained media attention from the shoot after her revealing attire was compared to that of Julia Roberts’ character in “Pretty Woman."
