Jane Lynch gave it her all as the host of this years Emmy Awards with jokes, dances and costumes that dazzled the crowd and viewers nationwide.

The Glee star went from one fancy gown to another. Starting on the red carpet in a custom-made strapless aubergine chiffon gown to her grand opening of the show where she supported a metallic gunmetal gray frock with a keyhole neckline.

Halfway through the show Lynch transformed in a rose halter gown with crystal pockets and concluded the show in a ravishing metallic sage jacquard gown.

Prior to the show the actress told People that she was trying to be 'non-traditional in her look. I wanted to keep it simple, yet glamorous and sexy, because everyone expects a pantsuit.
