FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Canada's work market is going through an steady growing period with low unemployment levels, as October's net creation of jobs posted a higher than expected increase making the unemployment level tick down, according to the latest employment survey by Statistics Canada.

Unemployment decreased to 5.8% in Canada in October from 5.9% In September, thanks to a net creation of employments of 63,000, a sharply larger reading than the 19,000 expected by the analysts.

Canadian employment has increased 2,1% in 2007 so far, which means a net creation of 346,000 employments, the strongest 10-month period results of the last five years; employment percentage reached 63.7% in October.
