FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Employment figures continue showing a positive trend in Switzerland, with the total of persons employment, as well as the number of vacancies increasing continuously, according to data released by the Swiss Statistics Office.

In the first three months of the year, employment has increased to 3.899 million in the secondary and tertiary sector, which means a 104,000 increase from the previous year, a 2.8% of the labour force; from which 27,000 were employed in the secondary sector, and 77,00 in the tertiary sector.

The index of vacancies has increased 14% ferom the foirst thee months last year, and the indicator of employment expectations has increased to 1.08 points, 0.3% above the level in the first quarter of the year 2007.
