Envision Solar International Inc., a leading infrastructure designer and developer of clean energy systems, was recently retained for a renewable solar energy project by SunRenuSolar LLC, in which Envision will install its Solar Tree® parking structures at the new Ecotech Institute.
Envision’s Solar Trees will create renewable solar energy to offset the electricity costs for Ecotech’s parking lot in Aurora, Colo. Ecotech is the first and only college entirely focused on renewable energy, sustainable design and energy efficiency.
“At SunRenu Solar and SunRenu Solar Contractors, we have a passion for the solar business and incorporate innovative solar power system design, construction, and solar production monitoring to implement solar solutions with the highest return on investment,” SunRenu managing member John McDonnell stated in the press release. “Envision Solar is the obvious choice for deployments where a highly architected solution and superior installation is required. Envision Solar’s portfolio of high quality projects speaks for itself, and we look forward to doing many more projects with the company.”
Envision Solar’s parking lot solar project design calls for shade and clean electricity. The company’s Solar Trees and Solar Groves™ are applicable to a wide range of facilities, including corporate campuses, commercial office buildings, light industrial facilities, shopping malls, restaurants, government buildings, schools, universities and hospitals.
“Parking lots and parking structures provide a tremendous opportunity for solar deployment, and we are pleased to have been selected by SunRenu Solar for this exciting project,” Envision Solar President Desmond Wheatley stated. “Our leading designs will be an ideal catalyst for the students at this innovative learning center, and we are proud to have been chosen as a prime example of the right way to design and deploy solar parking arrays.”
