ESPN The Magazine’s fifth annual Body Issue officially hits newsstands on July 12, featuring 20 professional athletes who stripped down for nude photo shoots. However, fans hoping for a sneak peek of the highly coveted Body Issue are in luck; photos of several athletes have already been released, courtesy of ESPN The Magazine and the New York Daily News.

The 2013 Body Issue features the most star-studded cast of nude athletes yet, though an unlikely figure may be the main attraction. Gary Player, a 77-year-old pro golfer and three-time Masters champion, will become the oldest athlete ever to pose naked for ESPN The Magazine. Player is also one of eight athletes who will be featured on their own Body Issue magazine cover. Volleyball player Kerri Walsh Kennings, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Denver Nuggets star Kenneth Faried, soccer star Sydney Leroux, funny car driver Courtney Force, MLB star Giancarlo Stanton, and motocross racer Tarah Gieger will also appear on covers of their own.

New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey also posed nude for the Body Issue. In an interview with the Daily News, the 24-year-old discussed his experience on the set of the racy photo shoot. “It was kind of nerve-racking at first,” Harvey said. “I’ve never been fully nude in front of random people before like that—especially with a camera around.” Harvey’s Body Issue appearance will be accompanied by Faried, Kaepernick, and several other male athletes.

ESPN The Magazine’s 2013 Body Issue also features numerous notable female athletes. Professional golfer Carly Booth, tennis player Agnieska Radwanska, MMA fighter Miesha Tate, snowboarder Elena Hight, and boxer Marlen Esparza are just a few of the women who posed nude for the issue.
