RTTNews - Tuesday, the Statistics Estonia said in a report that the trade deficit stood at EEK 1.8 billion in April, widening from EEK 1.6 billion in March. A year earlier, the trade deficit was EEK 3.6 billion.
Exports declined 38% annually in April, after falling 22% in March. At the same time, imports dropped to 41% from 30%.
On a monthly basis, exports and imports decreased by 7% and 4%, respectively in April.
