Monday, the Statistics Estonia announced that the producer price index rose 1.1% year-over-year in March, slower than the 2% increase in the previous month.

Prices of energy supply increased 28.8% on an annual basis in March, while mining prices rose 17.6%. However, manufacturing prices fell 1.6%

Month-on-month, produces prices dropped 0.8% in March, after falling 0.3% in February.

Meanwhile, export prices declined 2.4% annually in March, compared with a 1.5% fall in the previous month. Export prices dipped 0.7% compared to the preceding month.

Import prices decreased 6.3% year-on-year in March, after falling 3.8% in February. On a monthly basis, import prices dropped 1.6%.
