RTTNews - Monday, the Statistics Estonia said in a report that the retail sales of goods of retail trade enterprises dropped 3% month-on-month in July, compared to the 5% increase in the previous month.

Retail sales in grocery stores rose 4% in July, unchanged from the previous month, but retail sales in stores selling manufactured goods, decreased 5%.

On an annual basis, retail sales dropped 16% to EEK 4.9 billion in July, compared to the 11% fall in June.

Revenues from sales decreased 22% on an annual basis in July, and it was down1% compared to the preceding month. The revenues from sales of retail trade enterprises totaled EEK 5.9 billion.
