RTTNews - Monday, the Statistics Estonia said in a final report that the trade deficit stood at EEK 1.6 billion in March, revised down from EEK 1.7 billion reported initially. In February, the trade deficit was EEK 1.05 billion.

Total exports at current prices declined 22% annually to EEK 8.3 billion in March, un revised from the initial report.

At the same time, imports declined 30% to EEK 9.8 billion, unrevised from the preliminary report.

In the first quarter, the trade deficit stood at EEK 4.11 billion, narrowing from EEK 10.03 billion in the previous year. During the period, exports and imports decreased by 25% and 34%, respectively.
