EU to publish 2008 carbon emissions data April 1

The European Commission said on Tuesday it expects to publish verified 2008 carbon emissions data on April 1.

The European Commission expects to publish on April l, 2009 or soon afterwards the verified data on 2008 carbon dioxide equivalent emissions submitted by installations covered by the EU emissions trading system, it said in a statement.
