Euro Area To Log Positive Growth From Mid 2010, ECB's Mersch Says

RTTNews - The euro area will see positive growth rates in next twelve months, European Central Bank Governing Council Member Yves Mersch said Tuesday.

Our main scenario foresees that we will start to have positive growth rates again sometime in the middle of next year, Mersch told reporters in a press conference in Luxembourg.

Further, he said economic confidence in Eurozone is rising more than anticipated and the ECB has done all it can to address the crisis. He also indicated that there is no need for further stimulus currently.
