The Eurozone producer prices and retail sales reports are due from the Eurostat at 5:00 am ET Monday. Producer prices are forecast to drop 1.5% annually in February, following a 0.5% decrease in January. Meanwhile, the index is predicted to drop 0.5% from previous month.

At the same time, retail sales in the 16-nation bloc is forecast to decline 2.5% in February from the previous year, compared to 2.2% decrease in January. Month-on-month, sales are expected to fall 0.4%.

Ahead of the releases, the euro dropped against other major currencies. At about 4:55 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.5269 against the franc, 137.22 against the yen, 0.9061 against the pound and 1.3536 against the dollar.
