The euro hit a three-week low against the yen on Tuesday as Japanese exporters repatriated their overseas profits before the second quarter ends later in the week.

The euro fell 0.4 percent to 109.28 yen EURJPY=R, its lowest since June 10.

The dollar slid 0.3 percent to 89.06 yen JPY=, matching a five-week low struck the previous day. (Reporting by Rika Otsuka)
