Amid the release of the euro-zone fourth quarter GDP report at 5:00 am ET Tuesday, the euro fell sharply against the yen and the pound but advanced against its other major counterparts. As of now, the euro is trading at 0.9078 against the pound and 1.3329 against the dollar. Against its Swiss and Japanese counterparts, the single currency was quoted at 1.5205 and 133.28, respectively.
