The European currency declined to new multi-day lows against the currencies of Switzerland, Japan and US during Monday's early trading.

The euro slipped to an 18-day low of 1.5131 against the Swiss franc during Monday's early trading, compared to 1.521 hit late Friday in New York. If the European currency slides further, 1.47 is seen as the next likely target level.

The euro declined to a 12-day low of 1.3183 against the US dollar and a 13-day low of 127.85 against the Japanese yen, with next down side target levels seen at 1.298 and 125.5, respectively, if the euro slides further. The euro was worth 1.3295 against the US currency and 130.12 against the yen at last week's New York session close.
