FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Producer prices have grown in September at a substantially faster pace in September than in August, led by rising energy prices, according to the latest PPI report by Eurostat.

In September, Producer Prices Index has increased 0.4% from August, following a downwardly revised 0.0% increase posted in August, previously estimated a 0.1% increase.

Excluding energy, prices of all the other products have risen 0.2%, while energy prices have increased 1.0% on the month.

On the year, producer prices have gone 2.7% up in the Euro Area, while excluding energy prices have increased 3.1%.
