FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Retail trade volume has declined in the Euro Zone for the second consecutive month in March, according to data by Eurostat.

Retail sales have decreased 0.4% from February to March, instead of the 0.1% increase expected by market analysts. February's data has been revised to a 0.2% decline, from the 0.5% fall previously estimated.

Year on year the performance has been far worse than expected, with sales 1.6% lower than in March last year, following a revised 1.0% increase in February.
