FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Economic confidence has deteriorated in the countries sharing the Euro in October, especially among manufacturers, who see their business prospects worsening with a currency which strengthens day by day, consumer's confidence, however remains unchanged.

Industrial confidence fell to 2 in October from 3 in September, according to the European Commission's monthly survey, while consumer's confidence remained unchanged at -6; once September's figure was revised down from the initial -5 reading.

Overall economic sentiment has declined for its fifth consecutive time 105.9 in October from 106.9 in September, revised down from the initial 107.1.
