RTTNews - Wednesday, no major statistical reports are slated from major European economies, except Eurozone current account balance and Italian retail sales.

At 3.30am ET, the Italian research institute ISAE is set to release monthly consumer confidence survey results for June. Consumer confidence is forecast to fall to 104.7 in June from 104.9 in May.

Half an hour later, the Italian retail sales report is due. Economists forecast retail sales to stay flat on a monthly basis in April, following a 0.1% rise in March. Year-on-year, retail sales are expected to drop 2.8%.

Thereafter, the European Central Bank is scheduled to issue the current account balance for April. The Eurozone current account deficit stood at a seasonally adjusted EUR 6.5 billion in March.

At 5.00am ET, the OECD economic outlook is due.

At 6.00am ET, the British Distributive Trades survey is due from the Confederation of British Industry.
