RTTNews - Monday, no major reports are slated from European economies in the first day of the month, except the Purchasing Managers' Survey reports.

The release of the manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index reports for major Eurozone economies is set to start at 3.45 am ET. The first one that is expected to hit the wires is the Italian manufacturing PMI. The Italian manufacturing PMI is seen at 39.5 in May, up from 37.2 points recorded in April.

Thereafter, French PMI is due at 3.50am ET. The French PMI for the manufacturing sector is expected to match the flash estimate of 43.1. Meanwhile, the German PMI is also forecast to come in line with the initial reading of 39.1 in May.

According to flash estimate, the Eurozone manufacturing PMI increased to 40.5 in May from 36.7 in April. Economists expect the final report to confirm the initial estimate.

The Purchasing Managers' Index from UK is also due today. The PMI for the manufacturing sector is seen at 44, up from 42.9 last month.
