Friday, the Euro area external trade balance and Switzerland's retail trade reports are due.

At 2.00am ET, the Statistics Finland is set to issue producer prices for March. In February, producer price had declined 4.6% year-over-year in February, after falling 3.7% in January.

One hour later, Hungarian average gross wages for the month of February is expected. Economists predict wages to grow 3.5% annually, reversing a 5.2% fall in January.

At 3.15am ET, the Federal Statistical Office is slated to release Swiss retail trade data. Retail sales are expected to drop 0.2% year-on-year in February compared to a 1.2% increase in January.

Afterwards, the Italian industrial orders and Norwegian trade balance are due. After decreasing 2.1% on a monthly basis in January, Italian industrial orders are forecast to drop 2.6% in February.

The Eurostat is scheduled to issue external trade data for February at 5.00am ET. The Euro area trade deficit is forecast to narrow to EUR 5 billion from EUR 10.5 billion in January.

In the meantime, Icelandic unemployment details are also due. The jobless rate stood at 4% in the fourth quarter of 2008.
