Friday, the only major statistical reports due for the day are French consumer prices and industrial production.

At 2.45am ET, the French statistical office INSEE is set to release consumer price data for March. Annual inflation is forecast to ease to 0.4% in March from 0.9% in February. EU harmonized inflation is seen at 0.5%, down from 1% in February.

In the meantime, the French central government balance for February is also due. In January, the deficit stood at EUR 8.1 billion.

At 2.50am ET, French industrial output data is expected. After declining 3.1% in January, industrial production is predicted to record a monthly decrease of 1% in February. Meanwhile, manufacturing production is forecast to drop at a slower pace of 1.2% compared to a 4.1% fall in January.

Afterwards, Hungarian and Romanian CPI reports are due from Hungarian Central Statistical Office and National Institute of Statistics, respectively. Hungarian consumer price inflation is expected to rise slightly to 3.1% in February from 3% in January. Romanian annual inflation is seen at 6.5%, slower than February's 6.9%.

At 3.30am ET, the Statistics Netherlands is scheduled to issue the trade balance for the month of February. In January, the trade deficit stood at EUR 2.8 billion.
