RTTNews - Wednesday, major reports expected for the day are Bank of England's minutes and German Ifo business confidence survey.
At 2.45am ET, the French statistical office INSEE is slated to report consumer spending for the month of June. Consumer spending is expected to rise 0.4% in June from the prior month, following a 0.2% drop in May.
At 4.00am ET, the Munich-based Ifo Institute for Economic Research is set to release monthly business sentiment survey results. German business sentiment is forecast to rise to 86.5 in July from 85.9 in June. At the same time, current assessment is seen at 82.8, up from 82.4 in June.
Half an hour later, Bank of England's MPC minutes is due. In its MPC meeting held on July 8 and 9, the central bank had retained its key interest rate at historic low and decided to continue with its asset purchase scheme totaling GBP 125 billion by utilizing central bank reserves.
Thereafter, the Eurostat is slated to release the details of euroarea industrial new orders. Economists forecast 1.9% monthly growth in new orders during May compared to 1% drop in April.
At 6.00am ET, the CBI Industrial Trends Total Orders for the first quarter is due.
