Monday, only a few statistical reports are due from Europe at the start of the week.

At 2.00am ET, the German statistical office is scheduled to issue retail sales turnover for March. Retail sales are forecast to rise 0.2% month-on-month in March, reversing a 0.2% fall in February. Annually, a 0.3% decline is expected.

The PMI reports are due today. The first one to hit the wires is Swiss SVME PMI at 3.30am ET. Afterwards, the German PMI report is due at 3.55am ET and Eurozone at 4.00am ET.

At 4.00am ET, the Italian statistical office ISTAT is slated to release producer prices for March. Following a 3.3% decline in February, producer prices are forecast to drop 4.3% in March.

Thereafter, Eurozone sentix investor confidence is due for May at 4.30am ET. The investor confidence is seen at minus 28 in May compared to minus 35.3 last month.

At 5.00am ET, the European Commission is set to release economic forecasts.
