RTTNews - Thursday, the Swiss producer and import price data is the only main statistical report expected from Europe.

At 2.00am ET, the EU 25 new car registrations data for the month of April is due. In March, registrations were down 9.1%. At the same time, the Statistics Finland is set to release the consumer prices report. Annual inflation is forecast to remain at 0.1% in April.

Afterwards, a final report for March industrial production is expected from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office. Meanwhile, the Spanish first quarter GDP is also due. The Spanish economy is predicted to fall 1.8% sequentially in the first quarter of 2009.

At 3.15am ET, the Swiss Federal Statistical Office is scheduled to issue producer and import prices. Producer and import prices are expected fall 2.8% year-on-year in April, the same as in March.

At 4.00am ET, the European Central Bank is set to issue its monthly bulletin.
