RTTNews - Friday, the British GDP data is the only major statistical report due from the European economies.

At 3.00am ET, the Swiss National Bank is scheduled to issue M3 money supply for April. In March, M3 had increased 3.4%.

The Italian retail sales report is due at 4.00am ET. Retail sales are predicted to drop 0.9% year-on-year versus a 3.1% fall in February. Meanwhile, the decline on a monthly basis is seen at 0.2%.

At 4.30am ET, the second estimate for UK GDP is due from the Office for National Statistics. According to initial estimate, the economy had contracted 1.9% sequentially and 4.1% on an annual basis in the first quarter. The statistical office is expected to confirm the estimate released on April 24.

Half an hour later, the Statistics Iceland is set to release wages data for April. Wages had climbed 0.1% in March from the previous month.
