RTTNews - Thursday, a slew of statistical reports are due from the UK. In addition, Purchasing Manager's Survey results are due from major Eurozone economies.
The release of the Purchasing Managers' Index reports is set to start at 3.00 am ET. The first one to hit the wires is the Flash French manufacturing and services index. Thereafter, flash PMI reports are due from Germany and Eurozone.
At 4.30am ET, UK retail sales, total business investment and public finances reports are due from the Office for National Statistics. After rising 1.5% year-on-year in March, retail sales are forecast to rise 2.4% in April. In the first quarter, total business is forecast to drop 4% sequentially, following a 1.5% drop in the fourth quarter.
The public sector net borrowing in April is seen at GBP 7.5 billion, smaller than the GBP 19.1 billion in March.
The Bank of England is scheduled to issue a preliminary report for M4 money supply at the same time. In March, money supply had increased 17.8% annually.
At 8.00am ET, the Polish central bank is slated to release the minutes of the MPC meeting held on April 28. Meanwhile, the net core CPI is also due.
