European Union do not agree on Germany banning naked short selling

The European Union regulators did not agree on Germany banning naked short-selling on sovereign debt securities and financial shares. Germany last week had banned naked short selling, as a way to avoid stocks to tumble further, while as a result of this we saw that global stock markets still declined while the euro fell to the lowest level versus the dollar in four years.
