EV Innovations, Inc. is focused on creating 100% lithium-powered vehicles that can be used by everyday people. Since it was founded in 2000, the company has focused its efforts on the development and marketing of its all-electric products. Earlier this year, EV Innovations became the new name of the company previously known as Hybrid Technologies. The new name marked the company’s transition from a development-stage company to a manufacturer of battery-powered vehicles.

“As we go forward under our new identity… we fulfill our commitment to be the leader in American made Plug In Electric Vehicles,” stated Holly Roseberry, President of EV Innovations.

EV Innovations recently unveiled the newly designed Inizio EVS C7 to the public at the 2009 New York International Auto Show. This next-generation electric supercar can reach 170 mph without the help of petro fuels and has a range of 200 miles between charges, creating a new benchmark for the industry. The Inizio is expected to hit production late this year or early 2010.

With fuel costs beginning to inch back up, consumers are continuing to look for alternatives. Now that EV Innovations has taken a major step from a company in development to a full-fledged manufacturing entity, it can fulfill consumer demand. The company’s line of 100% lithium-powered vehicles includes a Mini Cooper, curvacious Wave, PT Cruiser, basic coupes, motorcycles, mopeds, and the Inizio sports car. As the company continues to educate the public and expand its brand presence, the demand for the all-electric vehicles should continue to expand.
