Evelyn Lozada of "Basketball Wives" fame revealed her engagement on Christmas Day with Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder, Carl Crawford, by posting a picture of her stunning $1.4 million ring on Instagram with the caption, “Yes!”

The reality show star, who is expecting a baby with Crawford, had a short-lived marriage with former NFL-er Chad Johnson back in 2012. She filed for divorce only two months after her marriage, charging Johnson for domestic violence. She was previously engaged to former NBA player Antoine Walker, and has a 20-year-old daughter, Shaniece Lozada, from a previous relationship.

According to reports, Evelyn has been dating Crawford for nearly a year, and the proposal took her by surprise as she wasn’t expecting one.

“I’m overjoyed and in complete and utter shock!” Lozada told People Magazine. “What a different year and a half it has been – I’m truly happy!”

According to reports, Lozada announced her pregnancy in Nov. 2012. Reports also state that the $1.4 million ring was especially made for her by Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, a jewelry store.

“Carl has been a long time client of mine and I knew immediately that he was really smitten and in love and wanted to make a statement that would light up the Christmas tree as well as the bride-to-be,” Arasheben told People.

Crawford personally was involved in the designing of the ring that he decided to give Evelyn, reports said, adding that not only was he involved in picking the stone, he also took the effort to find the perfect mounting for the ring.

Evelyn, 37, did not provide any details as to how Crawford “The Perfect Storm” proposed to her.
